Global Seeds is a 100% Malawian owned indigenous seed company that produces seeds of improved varieties of Drought tolerant hybrid maize and Legumes. Our Legume Products include; groundnut (CG7, CG9 and CG11), pigeon peas (Mwaiwathu Alimi), beans (NUA45 and Kholophethe) and soybeans (Tikolore and Makwacha). On Maize, Global Seeds produces a drought tolerant hybrid maize variety, Mwazangati (MH34) and Pro-vitamin A orange Maize (MH40A). We are also distributors of vegetables seeds like Tomato (Tengeru), rape (English & Giant), Cabbage (Sweet loaf), mustard and green paper.
Global Seeds Limited has been a supplier of seeds to Malawi government (Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water development), International Organizations such as the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (UN-FAO), One Acre Fund the, Other Seed companies and various local Non-Governmental Organizations such as Pyxus Agriculture Malawi, the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) and Total Land care (TLC).
All seeds stocked are seeds produced through our contracted growers across central and southern Malawi and through partner associations and cooperatives. All seeds are produced under certification and meet the seed standards as per Malawi Law.
